We were running a D&D 4th Ed game but that's pretty much gone to shit since we had two players bail. In the process a d20 Dark*Matter game (on hold cause we started 4th Ed D&D on D&D day), a New Wave Requiem LARP and a Cthulhu Live LARP all seriously injured if not killed out right because of all of this.
But no I can never expect my players to talk to me when something is bother them. Yea I make firm decisions at times and everything is made for a reason. But apparently they were feeling I was taking advantage of their friendship because I would go and pick up like my mail at the post office and decide "Well since I'm here I might as well get something to eat at Subway." So apparently because I didn't buy them anything they take it as me taking advantage of their loyalty. These are people I've let crash at my house countless times with out complaint, let them raid my fridge countless times without complaining that they go through a weeks of groceries in a day. So apparently by me doing something for me it makes me the bad guy.
Anywho, that aside I've been wanting to run a SciFi game lately. Just haven't decided on what. Maybe a Star Craft setting using the Star Frontier rules. I also was particular to Star Trek and the new Star Trek Reimagining was pretty decent. Maybe a Serenity game I got the rules and my players loved it... but I wanted to go more with a Space Opera type of thing... Hoping to look for some more players soon, If not my gaming group will fall apart again...
